Admissions process

  If you haven't done this already, you should schedule a virtual meeting with our Founding Executive Director, Lori Seymore. Click the button below to schedule your meeting. Plan for 30-45 minutes to meet with Lori. During this conversation Lori will ask you a ton of questions about your son/daughter, and she will describe to you what a typical day will look like for your child at her school, and whether or not she believes her school can serve him/her. 

 Gather as much information and documents you can about your child. This includes any recent work samples, psych reports, and IEPs. Unless your child(ren)'s report cards have authentic comments or anecdotal information from his/her teachers, you don't need to include this. Report cards in our opinion are pretty useless.

We want to make sure your child can thrive and be successful in our school and the more information you can provide the easier we are able to do this. 

 Click the Apply Now button below. You will need to have all of the information and documents you collected available to upload during this process.

There is no Admissions Testing during our Admissions process. We will assess your student(s) once they are accepted into our school, however, we do not have a test that students must take and/or pass in order to be accepted into our school.

There is a $100 Application fee at the end of this application.

There is nothing for you to do during this step. This is all on us. We will review your child's application to include the Activity & Observation Day and reach back out to you if we have any questions. 

From our paper review, we will determine if we believe we could serve your child successfully. This usually happens within 48 hours. If we believe the answer to this is YES, then we would continue to Step 5. If not, then we will notify you of our decision.

We will schedule an Activity & Observation Day for your son/daughter to spend time with us. This day/time will be announced soon. During this time, he/she will interact and work on various activities with the other children, while we observe.

Kids do not have to prepare for anything for this time. There is no assessment or anything like that. This time is for your child(ren) to determine if our school is a school they would enjoy attending and for our school to determine if they can be successful with us. In some instances, we might want to schedule more than one Activity & Observation Day.

 Within 48 hours of Step 4, we will notify you of our decision. For those children who we accept, you will receive an email within 48 hours concerning your child's Tuition, Schedule of Payments, and Enrollment Contract. 

If we are not able to accept your child, you will receive a phone call from our Executive Director within 48 hours of your child's Activity & Observation Day.
